Reminder of the rules for the Chainstory

This is just to remind everyone of what the rules of the Chainstory are.I have added 2 more rules cos of something Hassan did in his story. Sorry Hassan but...

• First person to comment continues.
• If someone has already been chosen they must comment to make sure to reserve their spot as the next writer.
• The story doesn't have to continue from exactly where it left off unless you want it to, i.e. it can be a prequel or a parallel story happening in the same setting but in an another part of the world.
• Do not change the name or other important feature of a character previously introduced unless that character has an identity crisis, amnesia or an alias.
• Spin offs can be made if preferred as long as they don't affect the immediate plot line.
• This spin offs can be shorts, factoids, character bios or whatever.
• If someone has taken your spot as the next writer in the chain by commenting, then for the sake of fairness let them continue but keep your draft somewhere just in case.
• Anyone can join in.
• The major characters of the previous story doesn't have to be the main characters in the next story.
• The story can be done in 1st, 3rd or even 2nd person despite how the previous writer wrote it.
• Don't just call it Chainstory part 3 or 4. Give it an epic title.
• Not all characters have to be developed.
• Don't do unnecessary or impossible revival of dead characters if you don't have a logical or believable reason for it to happen. Or else you are taking away the drama or effect the writer is trying to bring by killing them off.
• If the death of the character is not implied or stated directly or openly then the character can be brought back.

I think that sums it up. Should we come up with a Main Title for the Chainstory? I put this post up last year but not many people cared about a central title. Plus I was thinking of extending the story further after they escape the island so a central title may not work (that is of course assuming my idea of extending the story works out). But wh'ever. You choose what you want to do. Cheerio!!
