- First person to comment continues.
- If someone has already been chosen they must comment to make sure to reserve their spot as the next writer.
- The story doesn't have to continue from exactly where it left off unless you want it to, i.e. it can be a prequel or a parallel story happening in the same setting but in an another part of the world.
- Do not change the name or other important feature of a character previously introduced unless that character has an identity crisis, amnesia or an alias.
- Spin offs can be made if preferred as long as they don't affet the imidiate plot line.
- This spin offs can be shorts, factoids, character bios or whatever.
- If someone has taken your spot as the next wirter in the chain by commenting, then for the sake of fairness let them continue but keep your draft somewhere just in case.
- Anyone can join in.
- The major characters of the previous story doesn't have to be the main characters in the next story.
- The story can be done in 1st, 3rd or even 2nd person despite how the previous wirter wrote it.
- Don't just call it chainstory part 3 or 4. Give it an epic title.
- Not all characters have to be devaloped.
